A recent maternity shoot for Sherry, together with her husband Dennis.
The photography style this time differs slightly from my usual preference of using the environment to tell a story. Since Sherry opted to do the shoot in the comfort of her home with simple and clean backgrounds, we revisited some evergreen classic shots, with the focus and emphasis on her and her baby bump.
We were blessed with relatively good weather and light on the late monday afternoon during the photography session with Trisha. I was really hoping for a good and clear sunset but it ended up with the sky turned all cloudy towards the end of the session. Still, it was a fun and enjoyable session, with Trisha being sporty and enthusiastic enough to go along with most of my art direction and suggestion.

The ardous but yet special journey of pregnancy is perhaps the next most wonderful and significant chapter in a woman’s life, besides her wedding day. The maternity photography session is best scheduled during your third trimester, between the 28th to 36th week of your pregnancy, where your baby bump is probably quite prominent by then and you do still have the ease of mobility to move around easily to show-off your tummy just before you are made a proud mummy!
